梵谷之歌 Vincent (1971) 是美國知名創作歌手唐·麥克林Don McLean (1945-)於1971年所發表、並主唱的歌曲，用以紀念荷蘭畫家文生．梵谷Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890)。

以下是唐•麥克林Don McLean自述此曲創作的緣由：” 1970年秋天，我在學校體系中服務，我的工作是在各班級間彈吉他演唱。有天早晨，我坐在走廊間閱讀著文生．梵谷的傳記，霎那間，有個感動---我知道自己得寫一首歌來表明梵谷Vincent van Gogh 不是瘋子，他是生病了，正如他的弟弟西奧Theo一樣。我認為他之所以會落入這般「瘋狂」的田地，是因為被一個女人拒絕（普遍認知）。我拿著印有梵谷的星空畫作的紙張，於紙袋上寫下了歌詞。”(In the autumn of 1970 I had a job singing in the school system, playing my guitar in classrooms. I was sitting on the veranda one morning, reading a biography of Van Gogh, and suddenly I knew I had to write a song arguing that he wasn't crazy. He had an illness and so did his brother Theo. This makes it different, in my mind, to the garden variety of 'crazy' – because he was rejected by a woman [as was commonly thought]. 俗語說: ”一樣米養百樣人” (It takes all kinds to make a world.) ，意思是說每個人都有著不同的個性、想法和喜好，即使成長於在同一環境，也會因為不同的性情，而對事情有不同的看法。各有天性的人們，沒有人是完美的，任何人都需要透過人際相處的過程來成長。若我們不會願意與人共處，生命容易產生扭曲，當中最大的受害者卻是我們自己。反之，若在與人的磨合中，發現自己的不足，學習欣賞別人的優點，發展原諒人的心胸，就能趨向成熟，享受生命之樂，如聖經箴言27章17節所言: ” 鐵磨鐵，磨出刃來，朋友相感，也是如此。” (As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.)。

本單元歌曲 梵谷之歌 Vincent 裡的主人翁文生．梵谷Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890)他的畫充滿悲天憫人的胸懷，卻因個性帶有極端的愛與瘋狂，導致一生鬱鬱不得志，直到37歲舉槍自盡後，才逐漸成為舉世聞名的畫家。作者唐•麥克林Don McLean (1945-)在歌詞說:”But I could have told you, Vincent, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you 但願我能告訴你，文生，這個世界從來不是為美麗的你而存在 ”，字裡行間流露出對梵谷的致敬與不捨。若是當時的人們與梵谷之間能夠有更好的互動，憾事或許不會發生。

健康的人際互動是可以學習的，九型人格學（Enneagram）就是很實用的學習工具，它是一套把人類性格劃分為九種相互關聯的屬性模型的學說，其基本論述是每個人受造都有一個主型性格(及兩個測翼性格)，這九種主型性格屬性並無好壞之分，為要讓我們認識自己和別人、尋求天賦命定，得著更豐盛的生命。
不同類型的人對現實世界反應的方式如基本的恐懼 (Basic Fear)、基本的慾望 (Basic Desire)其行為背後動機 (Intention)有可被辨別的差異，每一型人格特質都有向另一型人格整合(integration) 或崩解 (disintegration)的路徑。

當基本慾望得到滿足時，基本恐懼就會隱藏，優點得以充分發揮，人格朝整合路徑走，恢復健康狀態；

當基本慾望得不到滿足時，基本恐懼就會浮現，負面性情因而彰顯，人格往崩解路徑行，導致性格扭曲；當人格處於極健康和極不健康的時候，是經過整合和崩解路徑的現象，從外在的行為較難判別其人格型號，尤其是處於極健康的時候。(因人格處於極健康時，同時會顯現其他人格型號的優點；相對的，當人格處於極不健康時，同時也會顯現其他人格型號的缺點，所以較難判別其人格型號)。

剖析九型人格論述的圖是由圓形、六角形、三角形組合的複合式圖案，在圓形上的九個點就代表了九種人格屬性，六角形及三角形則是人格整合路徑和崩解路徑，人們在以此概括模式的基礎上，發展出各式各樣的性格。這套學說已被廣泛用於商業及教育培訓、心理輔導、改善家庭及人際關係的課程中。
